        That sounds like the obvious answer. I just never had the
application print out a joblog before so never even through of it.

The application itself is doing a DSPJOBLOG OUTPUT(*PRINT) which is 
generating a job log.  And the OS/400 is generating one.

        When SBMJOG is run for this operation it produces two joblogs, why
would two joblogs be produced? The joblogs look the same, have the 
same job
name, user , and library.
        The job being submitted is bank statements being transferred to the
AS400 in batch mode. There is an error on the financal program I'm 
working
on, UCS0032 (custom error message).
        Is there any meaning to a double joblog being produced?
