Personnally, I can only afford one COMMON a year (specially if they are as
expensive as San Franscisco).
I chose San Diego (over San Antonio) because it is the first time in that city
and we want to see it. We've been to San Antonio last time. It was nice but not
enough to make me go back right after San Francisco.

How many on the list get to (personally) pay for all their expenses and can
really attend both conferences every year?
