Instead of sending the spool file to get it to the correct user, change the
CL program to ovrprtf dev(prtdev) copies(2). Place this BEFORE you generate
the spool file. If you are taking one spool file and sending to several
people, thus printing on their default printer, send it to the list where
you want one copy, chgsplfa copies(2) and send to the list where you want 2
copies. Have you tried mailing it to the people who want it. Maybe you can
avoid printing all together? mode sarcasm: Aren't computer suppose to help

Subject: distribution lists

I am trying to get two copies of a generated spool file to print to a
particular printer. In the past i believe that we have put the desired
report on a selected distribution list entry twice. I just tried to do
this manually and i get the message the it has been sent to 2 users but
only one shows up. Anybody have any idea how else I might be able to get
two copies to print without changing the print file itself to two copies
because this report also goes to other printers that require only one copy.

Any help on this will be much appreciated
Thank You
Michael F. Connelly
