The VCF cards are a minor nuisance in digest mode.  They take up just
a few lines and are human-readable.  The MIME is more of a nuisance as
I have to dig the message out of the tags.  Background attachments are
a real PITA.  They come through in digest mode as 50+ lines of encoded
text.  Not only do I have to scroll through all that crap, but it is
included in the digest size calculations which means that the digests
are created more frequently.

And while I'm ranting, let's have a round of "boo"s for the people who
quote all of every previous message in the topic.  Some of those get
longer than the background attachments.  Quoting should be short and
to the point; only including what is pertinent for that specific
reply.
