I don't think that's the case, and the duplicates are not limited to this list 
(although I got 
145 copies of a question to JAVA-L but that's the originator's problem).  I get 
duplicates from 
MIDRANGE-L, IBM, and one or two other sources so I don't believe the list 
software is at fault.

Even when duplicates occur, not everything on that download is duplicated.  I 
think it is 
either my ISP (but they don't think so -- I'm the only one with this problem 
... yeh, right!) 
or my mailer spits during the download, reconnects, and brings them down again 
but I can't find 
any mail logs indicating a problem.

Ah, well.  Not really a subject for this list.  Back to an AS/400 topic:

I was searching the Web for jobs in the UK and found this reference (I know, 
not a job but
