We have just started to use Netserver on our V4r3 AS400 and on the Client side Windows NT. According to the Client Access Express Redbook, if your profile for Windows differs from your AS400 profile you will be prompted for your profile and password. This is not happening. I must create a profile and password that matches on both systems. Also unless I install Operational Navigator or NetBEUI, I can see it when I search for it however when I try to access it says "Not accessible, wrong handle". I have the server in my LMHOSTS file. I was under the impression that Client Access is not even necessary, that it would just appear in my Network Neighborhood. I'm a little new to this anyone have a little insight?
