PS - I checked the install instructions for latest V4R1 cum package
(C9152410) in the installation instructions (SF98013, also searched SF98011
& SF98012) and find no reference to MF14862 at all. Where did you see it
listed as a pre-req ?

OK - found a reference here. Appears it's not a "real" PTF but a "Level
Indicator". Found this in cover letter for MF16773
(also shown as pre-req for MF17699, MF17844, MF17918 ... - and tons of
others).

Still, doesn't explain why IBM's database shows it as an OPEN PTF with no
activity for >2 years.
Your 410 system SHOULD have MF14862 applied already. The customer system I
checked (that has
it applied) is at cum package C8286410.

Subject: Re: V4R1 Update ???'s

Content-type: text/plain; charset

    Hi all,
I am working with a user on V4R1, CUM 98-013. We will getting
him current soon, but in looking through the SF98410 documentation there is
a reference to SF99101 - 99/04/06, anyone have any info on this one.

Also, I am having trouble finding data regards MF14862 which is
listed as a preq for the current cum install ??
            Thanks,
            JMS...
