  • Subject: Creating ODBC sources for many remote PC's

We are trying to find ways to simplify ODBC administration and support. We
have 20 remote locations with numerous PC's that we need

to define new ODBC sources for. Is there any way we can distribute this data
with minimal remote location intervention?

I was thinking in terms of a silent install, control file copy, file DSN, etc.
I've poured through the documentation and have had little luck in finding
anything that remotely resembles what I want to do.

Currently, we are V4R2 and V3R1M3.

Thanks

Mike
