Scenario: We have several sales files that have a join logical built over them. Some of these sales files are quite large. A programmer inserted some code in the nightly processing CLP to re-org one of the smaller sales related files in this join logical. This is causing the access path of the large file to be re-built. Due to the size, this will take a few hours. The CL is quite large and has an environment that is quite hard to duplicate. This includes temp files and *LDA. Does anyone know of a way to cancel the index build without ending the job doing the build?
