A user sent me the best suggestion offline.
We are now using ObjectConnect and doing SAVRSTLIB, SAVRSTCHG, SAVRSTOBJ and
running them 3 wide.  My processing time has gone from 14 hours some days to
a maximum of 6 hours (most days 2 hours).

                (a) You -can- automate FTP transmissions.  A little CLP and
you can tune
                the file list as you go.
