Bob !

Recovered from the campaign trail buddy ?

For the last 2 years I opted for the Education Connection's AS/400 Connectivity Conference. It is a Who's Who of industry notables presenting (of course we miss you <G>) including Al Barsa, Wayne Evans, Marie Finnegan Cronin, Dick Grenham, Skip Marchesani, Jon Paris, Dave Prescott, Jack Rioni, Jim Sloan, John Sears, Susan Ganter, Janet Krueger, Jelan Heidelberg , Glen Marchesani and Jeff Silberberg with keynote by Dr. Frank Soltis (GREAT speaker !) AND the session handouts are BOUND AND given to you in their ENTIRETY the day BEFORE the conference actually starts !!!

I've opted for the conference at Marco Island, FL the last 2 years and it is a GREAT location !! See:

And Jack even did a MAGIC show one evening <BG> !!!!

For those of you that attended that AS/400 Tech conf in Las Vegas last week,
I have a couple of questions.

1. What major item made you choose attending this conference over say,
COMMON, or one of the other 3rd party conferences?

2. Did you pay the full registration fee, or did your employer or did you
have education credits?

3. Did the includ Al Barsa ed meals attract you in any way?

5. If you've attended COMMON or another conference, how do you compare the
following to the IBM AS/400 technical conference?
  A) Session quality
  B) Session speakers
  C) Session presentation materials (handouts and powerpnt/freelance
presentation)
  D) Structure of the agenda (the sequence sessions are presented)

I'd appreciate any feedback on any or all of these questions.
Thanks!
