 Not exactly the same, as the board not involved. However, a "second 
 pair of eyes" can see things that others missed.
 
 One of my clients is doing a y2k review that was widely deemed 
 unnecessary. The product they are testing was designed originally 
 designed to be y2k compliant, and several very big clients have already 
 tested and signed off on the software. However, I've been surprised at 
 the number of y2k items that my client has been finding. And several 
 are significant.
 
 Perhaps the board of directors has heard similar stories and wants to 
 be sure they have explored all reasonable options before Jan 1. So, 
 instead of the WASTEMONEY command, perhaps they have invoked the CYA 
 command.
