Aside from using lan cards, you could also use a modem eliminator to connect the two V.24 lines. The unit I've used most often is made by R.A.D. and sells for right around $100. It allows you to passthru at 19.2, but for green screens that's usually fast enough. jte jte Eric Panissard wrote: > We have two AS400, one CISC (E10) and one RISC (170) : > Each of them has one V24 adapter and we can use the > PASSTHRU command through 2 modems. > Is it possible to do the same thing without the 2 modems ? > > thank by advance > Eric Panissard > > +--- > | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! > | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. > | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. > | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. > | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com > +--- -- John Earl johnearl@toolnet.com PowerTech Toolworks 206-575-0711 PowerLock Network Security www.400security.com The 400 School www.400school.com -- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
