System Managed Access Path Protection is documented in the Save/Restore manual. The system will journal certain files based on a recovery time value(default 150 minutes) and in the event the system goes down hard; the access paths for those files do not have to be rebuilt but are restored from the journal receivers. The reason I asked about SMAPP in regards to RGZPFM is that a reorganized PF needs access path maintenance and may explain the added time noticed. maybe.
