Funny you should ask that. I played around with the subfile and tried a few things There are two horizontal subfiles involved in this. The first displayed is a create/change screen and the second is a display/confirm, displayed after validation of create/change. When I got the error my horizontal subfiles were 10 rows by 6 columns, SFLPAG(60) SFLSIZ(61), The create/change subfile displays correctly, but falls over when the display/confirm subfile is written. I changed the values on both subfiles to SFLPAG(54) SFLSIZ(55) and the error still occurred on the both I changed the values on both subfiles to SFLPAG(48) SFLSIZ(49) and the no error! -----Original Message----- From: Joel Fritz [mailto:JFritz@sharperimage.com] Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 1999 5:17 PM To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' Subject: RE: Trying to display subfile This is a wild guess, but how big is the subfile? -----Original Message----- From: Colin Williams [mailto:Williamsc@technocrats.co.uk] Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 1999 6:19 AM To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' Subject: Trying to display subfile When trying to display a subfile from an RPG proggy I get this message . . : MCH1210 Severity . . . . . . . . : Escape . . : 15/06/99 Time sent . . . . . Because of this fact, I subscribe to both this list and the VISBAS-L list. A current discussion in the VISBAS-L list is whether anyone knows of a crash-proof database. I and two others answered "DB2/400". Nothing else was even suggested as crash-proof.
