Hi Folks !!

Got the July issue of Mobile Computing today and of ALL places to see something on the AS/400 there were TWO mentions !!!!

In the Table of Contents under NEWS under New Arrivals my eye caught "Get in touch with your mainframe and AS/400 data via CE device" !!!!

It goes into more detail under From Pocket to Mainframe - ClientSoft's in.Touch software "is the first software solution that enables Windows CE users access to IBM mainframes and AS/400 systems directly... " $ 100.00 per user !!!!

Then on the opposite page AS/400 catches my eye again under Manage Your E-Mail At Low Cost about a product from Micro Computer Systems' Claypso Center (CMC) Version 2.0 that "distributes, tracks and controls the flow of corporate e-mail to lower per-message costs." At the end of the article it says "The price of the software depends upon the system: Windows, Novell Netware, UNIX, IBM AS/400 or IBM Mainframes" !!!!

Isn't it NICE to see the AS/400 mentioned BY NAME while everything else is "generic/non-hardware specific" ???? !!!!

Both write ups are small but it's GREAT to see AS/400 mentioned in a non AS/400 publication !!

Chuck
