ActiveX components are add-ons to the Windows operating system. Once
registered to the Windows operating system it's visibility includes
properties and methods. Properties normally control logic and methods
normally perform function. Creating or acquiring ActiveX (formally
called OLE) components means that you value the OO approach to
application design. The time savings of incorporating a useful component
within a solution easily cover monitory investments.

The components I have developed deal directly with the CA/400 DLLs. The
DLLs are fully documented within the IBM manual AS/400 Client Access for
Windows 95/NT API and Technical Reference SC41-3513-01. IBM themselves
delivers ActiveX components with the CA/400 product.
