>Anyone know if its possible to connect a modem to the 400 for dial-in use as >a remote console? Allen, Op Console supports this kind of configuration. I use it regularly. It requires an NT 4 workstation, a PC modem and a couple of special cables for connection to the AS/400. In addition to having access to the console you can also work with the system's control panel remotely. It gets a bit involved setting it up, but since I've installed the latest CA/400 V3R2 service pack it has been pretty stable. Detailed installation instructions can be found in the CA/400 C3R2 manuals. Kenneth -- ******************************** Kenneth E.
