Very successful using VB, VBA and VBScript.
* I've automated spreadsheets to retrieve query results from
spoolfiles.
* VBScript to get fast DataQ sends and receives.
* Call RPG programs and pass parameters.
*       Run commands and more...

I tell customers that if they wanted to the could power down their
AS/400 with a Web page. No one has gone for it yet. Any takers?

I've also developed a way to call interactive RPG programs from the Web.
This allows me to keep all the data base and business rules intact. I
also get 'up and running' much quicker.
