Roger:
We are using VPN to support our remote developers all over the internet.  On
the server side we have an NT server running PPTP and on the client side the
user's are running MS VPN adapter.  They establish a dial up connection to
the Internet, then they start the PPTP connection to our VPN server.  Once
they are connected it is like they are sitting in our office.  I am taking a
leap of faith that PPTP is is as secure as MS would like us to think.  We
are running NT at service pack 5.
