WHEN YOU SAY THAT YOU SET THE DEFAULT LIBRARY FOR THE PROFILE, HOW DID YOU SET IT? WHEN I SET THE 'CURRENT' LIBRARY IN A PROFILE IT ALWAYS GOES TO THAT LIBRARY FIRST IN FTP AND CA400. ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: RE: FTP and directories Author: "Murphy; Guy" [SMTP:murphy@uif.uillinois.edu] Date: 5/23/99 8:55 PM I tried setting the default directory on the user profile and it was ignored. It seems that the only thing I can do is tell the user which dirrectory he can use then configure the exit program to give an error message if he tries any other directory. Bummer. Before that you can only rely on IFS directory security. I do think, though, that you should be able to set the default directory on the user profile.
