We upgraded a Model 510 from V3R7 to V4R3 on 10-24-98. The only problem since
was I couldn't get a SAVSYS for about two weeks (scary), but that problem was
because there were too many segments in the history log. Once most of those
segments were deleted, the SAVSYS worked OK. Other than that, I've never seen
ANY upgrade which went so smoothly, nor was so transparent to the users.

Folks,

I just upgraded a 640 from 4.2 to 4.3, no other changes. Jobs that were
running just fine under 4.2, now take about twice as long. TCP/IP stuff
seems to be goofed up as well. Anybody experience any slow downs under
4.3??? Will be running performance traces on effected programs, looking for
a quick fix.

Thanks,

Kelley Shaddrick
