Project Description:  ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEM.
This system records the accounting entries and related transactions. It 
allows query capabilities both on-line and batch. Various reports for 
accounting summaries, trial balances, account status and financial 
highlights were produced as output from this system. The various levels of 
activities involves in this project  are  Fixed Deposit Scheme, Bill 
Discount System ,  Hire Purchase System.

Role:
Member of project management team responsible for the design and development 
of the  system,  using  DB2/400  and RPG/400.    Interacted with   end-users 
  to    develop  software requirements  and  ensure  that  the system met 
client   expectations. Developed  and  implemented  enhancements to the 
software package.   Preparation of all documentation and functional designs 
.Was also involved on creating prototype screens using Screen Design 
Aid(SDA) and also prototype report layout using Report Layout Utility(RLU). 
Was also involved on getting user requirements and designing Database 
dictionaries and responsible for designing system wide naming convention. 
Also develop and maintain various SUBFILE programs in compliance with IBM 
AS/00 standard designed by using  Screen Design Aid (SDA) and wrote 
extensively embedded Structured Query Language(SQL/400) and Control Language 
(CL/400) commands  on RPG/400.

Project Description: PAYROLL MONITORING SYSTEM
Application is designed  to  automate the payroll system of the company. It 
maintains personnel, grade  files, of the employees. This system generates 
various reports like Pay slip, leave status loan status, salary register, 
Employees Provident Fund Register, etc.  This system also had both on-line 
and decision support components.
Role :
I worked mostly on the decision support system. This system generated 
various reports for the Senior Management to keep track of the productivity 
of the employees. This helped the Management to make decision on whom to 
keep for the longest duration and establish bonus programs. Involved 
extensively on designing Display files using SDA ,and Printer files using 
RLU. Also, was the lead designer  of a certain modules of this project.

Project Description : SALES AND ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SYSTEM.
This system includes customer order entry, tracking, shipping information 
and billing modules. The system includes a query module to report on 
customer balances and  credit limits. Various analytical and decision 
support reports like  Sales Analysis by regions and  Sales by category and 
period were produced from this system. These were used by Senior Management 
as a means of tracking the various sales related activities.

Role:
On a team of three, was the designer of the decision support piece of the 
system. This involved extensive interaction with the Senior Management to 
whom these reports were of major value. Was involved in the development and 
testing of the reports. RPG/400 was used to develop the system. Provide 
project management and with the proven ability to plan and manage multiple 
projects simultaneously and also demonstrate ability to work effectively 
with and support the need soft end users and project team members. Involved 
on developing state of art software using latest concepts software process 
engineering and experience with real-time embedded applications and 
multitasking Operating systems and knowledge of rigorous software 
development, techniques, processes and documentation.
