I'm using the QSRLSAVF (List save file) API, and ran into something wierd. I
used format SAVF0100 to get generic information about the save file.
According to the API reference, the save date and time is CHAR(8) format,
but the program is getting this:
&SAVDAT *CHAR 8 '=ûý ض '
7EDB8D3E80B60000
Here's the returned data from the API:
&RTNDTA *CHAR 3000 'LOYD SAVOBJ =ûý
Ø' D3D6E8C4404040404040E2C1E5D6C2D1404040407EDB8D3E80
+26 '¶ y è *LIB
' B6000000000001000030A800000054000000005CD3C9C24040
+51 ' V4R3M00 10263KM
' 40404040E5F4D9F3D4F0F040F1F0F2F6F3D2D4404040404040
+76 '
' 40404040404040404040404040404040404040404040404040
This doesn't seem to translate to anything. Eight chars are too short to
hold anything unless it's in binary format, which it isn't. Am I missing
something or is this a bug?
Thanks!
Loyd
