|| grief in my life because my manager starts foaming at the mouth || whenever I start talking about fixing some of the legacy code that || I don't like. Boy Eric you hit on one of my pet peeves.... I have a completely different philosophy where this is concerned than your boss (looking for a job?). We are taking the time to convert to ILE and modularize/cleanup/document legacy code AS we touch it for what ever reason. Eventually... we will have it all converted/fixed or I will die and not have to worry about it. ;-) This reminds me of the situation where some fix the symptom today only to have it reappear again next week, month, whatever, and they again... fix the symptom, and wait for the never ending cycle to reappear. That is what makes me foam at the mouth.... to find out we/someone has been patching/fixing rather than correcting the problem at the root. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
