I've used a combination of DSPPGMREF and DSPOBJD to outfiles. After
outfiles are built, I use a SQL query tool to pull out whatever I'm
looking for. You might be able to get away with the last usage date
in the objd, but more comprehensive would be objd not in pgmref
file (specifically look at WHFNAM column). That would list all
objects not referred to by other objects. Of course, if you use a
lot of file overrides in your programs, this might not work at
     all......

Hello -

I've been asked an interesting question...

My boss wants to know if there are any logical files on the system that have
never been used....

If your boss asked you this question, how would you go about finding this
information?

TIA for all your input.

Kenneth
