Strange thinking.

Seems like everybody who's worked on the 400(myself for 10 years), knows
how good a system it is.

Everybody who hasn't worked on it, assumes that it can't be that great
because IBM dont make much of a song and dance about it.

This is because IBM chooses to not invest in aggressively marketing the
system.  Instead they aggressively market Netfinity and RS/6000, neither
of
which are particularly profitable.

If IBM decided to show colleges how much value there would be to
graduates
who were well acquainted with the platform, but they are not doing
enough.
