I use this for my QRYSLT when using a field DATEL from my database file and
&DATEPARM from CLP:
QRYSLT('DATEL *EQ "' *CAT &DATEPARM *TCAT '"')
I prefer the double-quote over multiple single quotes (ticks)
BTW, a fellow programmer who came out of Cittone Institute here in NJ was the
first one to use the
"tick". I think it sounds nuts to say "tick". He also says "Splat" for
asterisk!
