Thanks John As another suggestion, I can't think what function you might use, but this seems the kind of thing that Excel or a spreadsheet might be more suited for. Your query thing will definitley run into problems as you will always need to either know how many times you need to run it to get all instances. Pivot tables ? Data Functions ? there must be something there....
