Is anybody using a 7852-400(dial) to a 5394-400 ??? I set one up last night for a customer and I can't get the system to connect. The modem comes with a series of preset switches for dial operation and according to the manual is V.25bis... I have the 5394 set for dial using manual operation(not v.25bis)... I looked for all the usual suspects in the system config(line, controller) but nothing really sticks out... Qsysopr msgq really doesn't give me any good hints on what is going on..... I don't receive any bad xid's, etc,etc.. but I suspect the modem setting..... (which are both at factory setting)... I tried v.25(autodial) on the 5394 with pretty much the same results... modems attempt to sync up and then just die... Never could get the 5394 to autodial,so went back to manual dial... +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
