Chuck,

The good news is Twinax is recyclable! I would start your company
investing in cat 5 or fiber cabling and not put more funding in twinax
going TCP/IP. We tried and it was a disaster (we also tried thinnet),
while working on our frame relay. We still have twinax at some of our
locations, but are removing those old circuits quickly. Bite the bullet
and upgrade, it will save you in the long run.

Subject: Anyone using or looked @ IBM 5250 Express & TCP/IP ?

Hi Folks !

Was reading in AS/400 Network Solutions about the twin-ax adapter cards
supporting IP and was wondering if anyone had tried that and how they
had it setup (I come from a shop where we had started rolling out TCP/IP
to the AS/400 with C/A but we had a LAN/WAN and the AS/400 was on the
LAN/WAN and I am TOTALLY out of synch on how this would work with
twin-ax !

Thanks !

Chuck
