who gives up the space on their as400? -- MIDRANGE-L

when i was in technical college they
set up a user profile on their as400
for me so that i could dial up from
home & do my programming work.

what is this 'service/concept' called
and where can i find it on the 
internet b/c everywhere i've gone all
i find is companies providing emulators
that allow me to connect. I HAVE AN EMULATOR!
I want space on their as400 for my objects,
source code, dds...etc for a meager price 
ofcourse ;)
