I'm in a v3r7 backwater. When do 64 bit integers appear? Always seemed like we should have had 'em to go with the processor. -----Original Message----- From: zoght@us.ibm.com [mailto:zoght@us.ibm.com] Sent: Thursday, April 15, 1999 9:45 AM To: blairw@us.ibm.com Cc: midrangel Subject: Re: CEE4SIFAC Math API Blair, There was a typo in the pre v4r3 documentation of System API Reference Manual. The correct max is 12 for 4 byte int and 20 for 8 byte int. There is one API for each type of int: --------------------------- _INT4: void CEE4SIFAC(_INT4 * val, _INT4 * result, _FEEDBACK * fc); /* max 12 */ _INT8: void CEE4SJFAC(_INT4 * val, _INT8 * result, _FEEDBACK * fc); /* max 20 */ The prototypes are in lemath.h, the types in letype.h. leawi.h includes both above files. Let me know if you need more help and Sorry about the typo. Cheers. Is this some known problem? I haven't messed with it personally, but one of the guys out on the MIDRANGE-L list ran into this. Thanks again. -blair Blair Wyman -- IBM Rochester -- (507) 253-2891 "...swilling office coffee in the cube farm." ---------------------- Forwarded by Blair Wyman/Rochester/IBM on 04/15/99 10:32 AM --------------------------- Dave Mahadevan <mahadevan@fuse.net> on 04/13/99 05:25:09 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To: midrangel <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> cc: (bcc: Blair Wyman/Rochester/IBM) Subject: CEE4SIFAC Math API +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
