I just read the PMREAD, and I don't really want to delete the product (but I now understand why so many suggested it). Apparantly their is no way to just turn this off short of modifying the ASJ entry. While that would surely work, the chances of forgetting or misplacing the information about this change are fairly high. :( So I've opted for adding a line to the QSTRUPPGM that ends the subsystem immediately.... it will get this guy out of the way temporarily, without crippling it. Not the greatest solution, but it will work for now. Thanks to Ken, Art, Alexy, Rob, Tim, and all others that offerred advice. jte > Art Tostaine, Jr. > CCA, Inc. > Parlin, NJ 08859 > > > > Does anyone remember how to permanently turn off PM/400. > > It's getting to be annoying and I'd like to just be done > > with it. > > > > Thanks, > > > > jte > > > > -- > > John Earl johnearl@toolnet.com > > +--- > | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! > | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. > | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. > | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. > | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com > +--- -- John Earl johnearl@toolnet.com PowerTech Toolworks 206-575-0711 PowerLock Network Security www.toolnet.com The 400 School www.400school.com -- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
