  • Subject: Integrated PC server performance?

What is everyone's opinion on the performance of the integrated PC server as
opposed to a PC using NT, on a 100meg network. Mostly for things like JDBC
or ODBC connections (not Domino), or report queries using Crystal Reports or
Impromptu from Cognos?

With the constant delay of IBM being able to upgrade the server (and unable
to just swap the chip, a PC makes more economic sense, but I am wondering if
the performance difference makes the cost worth while.

Thanks
