> Is there a method for Program B to identify > and capture the name of the program which called it I don't know any direct method for RPG-programs. But let RPG Program B call CLP Program C. Now this cl program should send a program message to (* *PRV). Then recieve it again (and as well remove it) while also retrieving the 'sender' info. This includes the string 'PROGRAMB'. Another msg sent to ('PROGRAMB' *PRV) and another recieve will give you the string 'PROGRAMA'. It's time for bed now (and takes 20 min to turn on my AS/400), but give me a bib if you want more specific code.
