Jim,

The only work around we've come up with is to allow for two named
sessions so the user can kill the first. It's not just IBM network,
I've got an ISDN connection from home and so does a client AS/400, same
town, same provider, same thing happens.

BTW, how do you like Power Term? I've downloaded it but have yet to try
it.

I've got MochaSoft, pretty good terminal, but doesn't seen to understand
the position cursor keyword. The version I have doesn't do print.

PSI TCP/IP works but you can't use SDA. It won't let you put a > next
to a field to move it. It also causes a dump if you field exit on a
numeric field in DFU. It places the last digit in the space reserved
for the sign. It can print to an HP600 but not an HP820, etc. It's
AWSC dialup version is very good. I've used it when file download
needed to be restricted.

Got Synapse Netwolf. Works like a champ for local connections but have
not been able to perform remote printing. Manual for TCP/IP mainly
address' APPC connections. I'm sure it will get better.

What kind of behavior have you found with Power Term that differs from a
"true" 5250 session? Does it comply with TN5250e standards?

TIA
