Hi Art,

Sounds like something else is going on with this utility.  I've used this 
utility
many times, in fact I did the first tech edit on the original article and tested
the code, and have never run across this problem.   If you want, you can send me
an original source member and let me see what happens when I convert it on my
AS/400.  An alternative would be to download the code again and recompile that
utility. Perhaps the version you got from the MC website was somehow messed up?
I don't know. I'm just guessing here.  In any event, I've never seen this 
problem
happen and I use this utility quite a bit.

Have you tried contacting the author(s) to see if they can assist you?
