Redefining Arrays



 >> D          DS
 >> D month01

 >> D mthary        1     120   2     DIM(12)


Although this didn't work in the early releases of RPG IV, it is now possible to
OVERLAY to the DS name.  So - the answer to your problem (if you need the
individual fields) is simply to name the the DS and use that name like so:

 >> D Names    DS
 .......
 >> D mthary        1     120   2     DIM(12) Overlay(Names)
