Generally speaking, an upgrade to a Model 720 will cost less and/or provide
much more performance than an upgrade to a Model 620. It may enable you to
stay in a lower software tier, too. Other than $$$ and performance, the
systems are similar in packaging and both are V4R4-capable.

I'm surprised there is no IBM salesperson or Business Partner available to
provide you pricing comparisons and product information. (No flames,
please, about how you don't have an IBMer bring coffee and donuts to you
every morning like in the good old days.) If you call 1-800-IBM-4YOU they
can tell you the name of the IBM salesperson (often based in Atlanta or
Dallas) assigned to you.
