NT security issue. -- MIDRANGE-L

I just found a nice little security hole in NT using MS Exchange (5.5)
(I wonder if they've fixed it). Access the POP server and attempt to log
on with a user id by guessing passwords (finding a user id is easy since
they're usually the basis of a person's e-mail address) . Once you
exceed the bad password lock out limit you get messages saying the
account is currently locked and cannot be accessed. But don't believe
that...keep going...once you hit on the right password, voila, you're
in!
