In CCSID 37 the currency pound sign is x'B1' and in CCSID 280 the
numeric pound sign is x'B1'.  If in doing the copy the code point is
not changing (the 280 x'B1' should become a 37 x'7B') then I have to
assume your copy is not CCSID sensitive.

If using CPYF make sure you have FMTOPT(*MAP) specified.  Graphic character
integrity should then be maintained.
