Hi Patrick just take the options under 12. Change TCP/IP domain information put your entries in there and set the lookup to *REMOTE if you have nothing you want in the host table. Thanks Bleddyn http://www.ignite400.org/ your AS/400 Internet/Intranet questions answered. -----Original Message----- From: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-midrange-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Patrick Townsend Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 1999 09:24 To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: V4R3 DNS server, how to specify There is probably an easy answer for this, but it is escaping me. On V4R1 and V4R2 you could define a remote DNS server by taking an option on the CFGTCP menu for Remote Name Servers. This has disappeared on V4R3. There is an option now to configure the AS/400's DNS server, but I don't want to do this. There is already a DNS server on another system. Does anyone know how to specify the DNS server under V4R3?
