Hi Prakash,
                             Try this.

ON Query, 1. Define Report Break ( Select the field you want to
Group By ) and
                        2. Select Report summary function ( You can
choose Total, Count, Maximmum etc )

Hope this helps

Raj

Subject: Group by in query/400?

Hi Friends,
I have just started using Query/400. today, I was running a query using
Query/400 and had to do a Group by in my query, but I could find no
mention of this in Query/400. Does'nt query/400 have a group by option?
Or Am I missing something? How else can one do a group by using a field
in query/400. I would be happy if Anyone can throw some light.
Thanks,
Prakash
