I want to "makeover" a main screen displayed when a user signs in. I want to spiff the screen up a little (i.e. give it sort of a graphical look), but am at a loss as to how to accomplish this without giving it that "created via a typewriter" graphical look (i.e. building-block). Anyone have any ideas? Can I represent special characters via hex codes, which may provide some visual interest, e.g. curves, angles, etc.? Thanks in advance.
