This is an old story now. The IBM emulation cards or IBM clones (CLI, BOS, Affinity, DCI, Perle, etc.) use the same design which was invented to run under DOS in x286 computers. The Synapse WinTwin adapter which is compatible with any product using the NetSoft router (which is about everyone) including Synapse's own WinAPPC (display, printer, and SQL based file transfer) is the only card made exclusively for Windows (any version including NT and 2000). Their secret is the microprocessor based design and the 64K of RAM on board that insulates the card from the OS and from the PC microprocessor speed. This, along with the dual buss buffering system allow the card to function perfectly in virtually any PC at any speed using any Windows OS. Claimer: I sell, support, recommend, and use Synapse products because they work. jerry At 10:47 AM 2/12/99 -0600, you wrote: >I would be interested in hearing from anyone that has successfully >installed a twinax card in a WinNT SERVER (version 4, service pack 3). > >I am trying to install a Perle (formerly Affinity Systems, formerly >DCI) PCI twinax card into a MaxVision dual Pentium II 350mhz server.
