In the event of failure that does not recover itself, IBM would have to replace the drive, which typically can be dome on a same day basis. It just so happened that we had a failure yesterday, on a system with parity protection (now-a-days, if you don't have protection, you should have your pulse checked), IBM was called at 12, was here by 1 and had it fixed before 5.
