The only reference to the layout of file QATOCPTP was the following, and I
quote:

"The content and format of these files are not described here because they
are subject to change in future releases."

This is in Appendix B of the TCP/IP Config and Reference Manual.  I presume
that as PPP is fairly new on the 400, that want to give the 'feature' time
to mature before they start publishing the layout of the files.
So, yes, this means a parse and guess job.  Bear in mind that because the
format of this file is release dependent, your code may not work when you
install a new release, or if you port that code to another 400 running a
different release.
