Hi all,
I have just been advised that we may be changing from Netsoft Elite to
Rumba/400.
We currently run Elite on a NT or 95 platform.Im trying to find out
Q1:Is Rumba a better product?
Q2:Which is the most popular of these in the USA?
Q3:Does Rumba have DDE ?(We currently use DDE for "screenscraping on the
rocksolid Netsoft Elite" )
example:

    ReadScreenTxtBox.LinkTopic = Trim(Module1.as400_DDETopic)
    ReadScreenTxtBox.LinkItem = Position
    ReadScreenTxtBox.LinkMode = 2
    ReadScreenTxtBox.LinkRequest

    as400_Line1 = as400_DataExtract.ReadScreen("r1c1:t80")
    as400_Line2 = as400_DataExtract.ReadScreen("r2c1:t80")

Q4:Does Rumba interface better than Netsoft if you develop with Visual
Basic.
(Visual Age RPG is a no no for us-we have found that we like VB 0

thanks David
