Try copying the logical to a temporary file: CPYF LGLFILE MYLIB/TMPPF CRTFILE(*YES) Then DSPPFM MYLIB/TMPPF and see what's in there. This is the data that your program is working with. I'd wager an inconsequential sum that the temporary file is empty.
